The University of North Texas Health Science Center is committed to preparing its students for successful professional careers in health. They offer an innovative and collaborative environment and a diverse faculty made up of physicians, researchers, and health care professionals. The University of North Texas Health Science Center is providing a healthier future for a changing world with new discoveries through research. Their internationally-known faculty researchers are exploring new approaches to the treatment of disease, including Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, women’s health problems, musculoskeletal issues, and health disparities. They employ advanced technologies such as nanotechnology, proteomics, and mass spectrometry.

UNT Health is the area’s largest multi-specialty group practice; with practices in more that thirty locations and in most area hospitals, our physicians will have more than 500,000 patient encounters this year and deliver some 7,500 babies. The group’s nearly 160 physicians represent a range of medical specialties with an emphasis on family and primary care.
