Plaza Medical Center

Since we opened our doors in 1974, Plaza Medical Center has grown with Fort Worth and is currently completing a multi-year, ninety million dollar expansion to serve our patients more effectively and exceed their expectations for superior medical care. We are a 320-bed facility offering cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment services in a wide range of specialties and sub-specialties including cardiac care, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, and specialty surgery. We are located in the heart of the medical district near downtown Fort Worth. We serve as a tertiary referral center not only for Tarrant County, but for numerous counties within a ninety mile radius.

Plaza Medical Center has been recognized twice for being a "Top 100 Heart Hospital" in the United States. Our facilities include four open-heart surgery operating rooms, four cardiac catheter labs, a dedicated ICU unit, and four separate critical care units. Services range from stress tests and cardiac rehabilitation to the more complex procedures like off-pump bypass surgery.
