The Brazos Valley traditional rotating internship program at Brazos Family Medicine is AOA/ACGME accredited with (3) AOA-approved positions.
The Family Medicine Center has its roots in the building that housed a large multi-specialty clinic which was the practice site of Dr. H.D. Pope, one of our founding faculty. We offer acute care, preventive care, procedural support for minor surgeries, and full maternity care. With thirty exam rooms, plus three special procedure rooms used to provide minor surgery, ultrasound and stress treadmill testing, and a recently opened endoscopy suite, our Center serves the needs of thousands of patients.
